A good leader is benevolent and unconcerned with fame. --- Sun Tzu

Flash Points Volume One presents a remastered version of Robin Hood and Little John by Pierce Egan, originally published as a serialized story in 1838 and then as a book in 1840. The quality of the digital copy on archive.org contained numerous flaws that required extensive analysis to correct. (Their source material was old, rare and time was not gentle with it at its final home at Oxford University in England).

Mr Egan's work blends the original legends with numerous contributions from later authors and poets, creating an entertaining and informative account of Robin Hood --- The Man. The Myth. The Legend.

As an Appendix, we added a randomly-selected collection of Aesop's Fables. Also included is The Magna Carta, A world-changing document that has several connections to Robin Hood. The Fables helped shape Robin Hood, and Robin Hood helped shape the course of Western Democracy.
